Polycarbonate lathe chuck shields that provide a barrier between the chuck an workpiece and individuals to prevent accidental contact with the rotating chuck.
Full Description
- Assemblies consist of 3/16"-thick polycarbonate shields attached to 1/4"-thick mounting brackets.
- The shield hinges left and rests at a 45 dgree angle above the headstock making it easy to change the chuck or workpiece.
- The operator doesn't need to reach over the chuck to move the shield in and out of position.
- It will not interfere with lathes that have4 a rear guard or backsplash.
- Includes shield, mounting bracket, hinges, fastners and a safety sign.
